November AB Challenge
Some of our Performance
& Competitive dancers have asked for an Abdominal & Core Strength
work-out as a challenge for the month of November. Lauren Rousseau
has put together a great workout for the month and we encourage our
dancers to do their best to take part in the challenge. Attached is
the calendar & below are a few instructions for the challenge. Thanks
very much to Lauren for all her work and a great Team Spirit!
Attention Dancers: As we all know core strength is so important in Irish Dance. It helps with carriage, allows us to jump higher, have better balance, and prevent injury. That's why we are challenging all dancers to take the "McConnell November Irish AB Challenge"
This
challenge will help you build up your abdominal strength with simple exercises
that will increase in reps as the month goes on. The best part is you don't
need any equipment. On the days dancers have classes at the studio we will be
doing the AB Challenge after warm up. On the days you don't have classes
dancers can print out the calendar and do the exercises at home. We hope all
dancers will take part, Happy Planking!
