for recreational and competitive Irish Dance.

Hours: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Basic Camp Fee: $175

Recreational Irish Dance Camp
New & returning Irish dance students are welcome to attend!
· Student’s new to Irish dance who would like to learn the basics before lessons commence in the fall.
· For General Division dancers interested in enrolling Performance Division.
· For all dancers who would like extra practice & training during the summer.
Recreational Camp Ages Junior Camp ( Age 4 - 8 ) Intermediate Camp (Age 9 - 11 ) Senior Camp (Age 12 & up)

Learn your own solo step Stage Presence & Performance Sing Irish Songs
Basics of Irish music (reel, jig, hornpipe, slip jig) Design your own solo costume
Irish Arts & Crafts (Celtic design) Basic Irish History Irish Myths and Legends
Competitive Irish Dance Camp
New & returning Irish dance students are welcome to attend, however basic knowledge of Irish Dance is required.
· Competitive Dancers who wish to improve technique, learn new steps, advance levels, or prepare for the next competition.
· General Division or Performance dancers interested in trying out Competitive Irish Dance.
· For all dancers who would like intensive work on technique.

What to Bring to Everyday to Camp
Water bottle, Backpack
Pack a lunch - including drinks and 2 snacks (morning and afternoon). Please keep in mind Irish dancers are very active at Summer Camp and extra food and beverages are necessary
Dancewear - shorts, skirt, t-shirt, leotard, tights, or loose fitting clothing which allows movement - colour optional. Please avoid wearing jewellery, long hair should be tied back.
Irish Dance Shoes - soft shoes or ballet slippers, hard shoes (optional) Children new to Irish dance do not have to purchase Irish dance shoes. Socks are acceptable to dance in at Summer Camp.
Irish Dance Journal - Notebook or binder to write dances steps in
Outside clothing (including running shoes) There will daily excursions to the park & outside physical activities
Sun Hat, Sunscreen, Mosquito Lotion (if preferred).
