To All
McConnell School of Dance Parents-General, Performance, and Competition,
The MSDSA
board has decided to organize a FUNDrive, launching on November 26! We will
have details at the Costume Swap!
This is not
your average fundraiser! This is a no-cost-to-you fundraiser and
a good way to clean out those closets and storage areas to make room for New
toys and Christmas gifts!!
We have
teamed up with Value Village and we will be collecting garbage bags full of
your items and weigh in on December 19! Please check out the poster in
the studio!
They will
pay us for each pound of donations! And we are helping other community
organizations because Value Village gives portions of the sales of donated
items to Diabetes and other local groups!
On average
a full garbage bag is approx. 14 lbs of clothing or household items!
Our first
goal is $500 which is approximately 250 bags.
Christmas
is a giving time, it’s a great time to get donations from people! Ask your
neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family! The more bags we bring in the more
we earn!
Here is a
list of acceptable items to put in the bags: (PLEASE no large items over
18 inches on one side! They will take as donation but won’t pay for the large
items like furniture.)
