CRN IRISH OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

 

 

CRN VIRTUAL IRISH OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Registration is now available for the Virtual CRN Irish Open Championships.  This event will hold Award and Championship competitions only (no solos) due to the large volume of entries and digital format.  This is a wonderful opportunity for all competitive dancers to compete at the National level without the burden of travel.  We encourage all interested dancers to enter this competition.  NO QUALIFICATION NEEDED TO ENTER.

• Registration Deadline - Tuesday, October 19th, 2021
• Video Taping -   Brandon - Nov 7th  Winnipeg - Nov 8th & 9th
• Results - December 12th, 2021

QUALIFICATION

Qualification is not needed for this event as CRN has removed the requirements due to the pandemic and the inability to hold an in-person qualifiers in most regions.  Instructors will decide the most appropriate award level for each dancer.  Dancers who compete in multiple levels should verify with their instructor prior to registration.  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions with regards to award level qualification.

VIDEO TAPING

Video taping for this competition will take place in studio only for this competition.  

Brandon Taping

• Sunday November 7th, 2021  (Time TBC)

Brandon dancers who are unable to attend Sunday Brandon tapings are welcome to attend Winnipeg taping sessions.  Please contact us to arrange for scheduling by emailing info@mcconnelldancers.com

Winnipeg Taping

• Monday, November 8th  (5:00 - 9:00 pm) 
• Tuesday, November 9th  (5:00 - 9:00 pm)

COMPETITION FEES 

Registration Fee - $35 CAN / dancer

CRN Administration Fee-  €6  / dancer

Award - €25

Championship  - €35

Video Taping Fees
$35 / dancer
Competition fees will be applied to dancers accounts upon registration. 

 

COMPETITION AGE GROUPS

Age group is determined by the age a dancer will reach by 31st August, 2021.

The ages covered in an age group include the maximum age stated and younger. For example, “Under 9” includes dancers who are 9 or younger as of 31st August, 2021. Please ensure your dancer’s birthdate is entered correctly.
