Please see below for important information for our upcoming Canada Féile on Saturday, May 25, 2019
We are very excited for our 4th Annual CRN Canada Féile on Saturday and looking forward to welcoming adjudicator Brian Cleary, from San Francisco, CA. Competing dancers and parents should read through all the information provided so they are well informed for the competitions.

Best wishes to all the dancers competing on Saturday! The dancers have worked incredibly hard this year and they have all made wonderful progress individually and as a group. Our instructors are extremely proud of the dancers and regardless of results or positions on the podium, we feel they are all winners in our opinions. Congratulations on all your accomplishments and we are excited to see everyone shine on stage at the competition.
ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND
Dancers, family, and friends are welcome to attend and we encourage our non- competing dancers to come out and support us for the Canada Féile. Admission is $7 for Adults & $5 for Children. Please note, competing Dancers have already paid admission as part of their registration.
For those attending we remind you we are welcoming dancers, parents, instructors, and adjudicators from Ireland and the U.S.A . For many of our attendees this is the first visit to Canada and we encourage parents and dancers to make sure everyone feels welcome and is well looked after. Please do your best to show a warm welcome to our visitors!
Our instructors and coordinators are extremely busy preparing for the Féile and we ask you to please be mindful of the workload and assist as best you can by limiting questions to only those absolutely necessary.

DANCE SHOES
  • Shoes should be well fitting, clean, and polished. Ill-fitting shoes may affect a dancer’s placement.

  • Dancers under 20 may wear poodle socks or tights, however we prefer dancers wear socks as it shows off footwork better than tights
  • Team dancers must coordinate socks or tights, depending on age of the team.
  • If you are under 20 and you wish to wear tights please verify with your instructor prior to competition
  • Make sure your socks are newer, clean, white, and well fitting.
  • Sock glue is essential. Instructors will have sock glue on hand, for those who require glue, please see your instructor side stage.
MAKE-UP
MSD & CRN discourage the use of heavy make-up, spray tan, etc. especially with younger dancers. There are no stage lights at Canada Féile so heavy make-up is not necessary. Light or no make-up is acceptable.
